LocalShred delivers shreds to one IP address on one port, and that IP address is the main IP address of your server. For nearly all of our customers this setup is sufficient, and no separate facility-internal IP address is needed. The stream arrives over our local network with sub-millisecond delivery latency, since the forwarder and your server sit in the same facility.
